Accredited Practicing Dietitian

Delfa is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who specialises in paediatric nutrition. Delfa has experience working with children and their families within clinical and community settings to help manage a range of nutrition and feeding difficulties. Delfa is passionate about empowering families to overcome mealtime challenges and support their child’s nutritional health.

Delfa has a key interest and specialised knowledge in restrictive eating behaviours, including Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) as well as gastrointestinal disorders, childhood growth concerns and feeding difficulties related to disabilities.

Delfa holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor degree in Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science). To compliment her interest and expertise in child and family nutrition, Delfa has completed a Certificate of Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic from the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding therapy (including advanced courses in infancy, Autism and adolescents).
