Riansha (Ria) is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist with over 5 years experience in the field. Ria has a broad range of experience working with children and their families in the clinical, community and school-based environment.

Ria has a passion for working with children and supporting them in reaching their potential, so that they are able to participate in their everyday occupations of playing, learning and socialising.

During her professional practice as an Occupational Therapist, Ria has had the opportunity to teach, support and interact with children with a range of intellectual and special needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and mild or moderate Intellectual needs.

She believes that a multidisciplinary approach to care is vital when it comes to supporting a child and their family. Every child is unique and capable of reaching their individual goals when provided with holistic, family-centred care.

Ria completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University, where she also studied Bachelor of Health Science. She is passionate about furthering her knowledge in Paediatric Occupational Therapy and actively completes professional development courses within this area. Ria has recently completed the ‘DIR 101: Introduction to DIR/Floor time’ course as well as the ‘Sensory Tools, Traffic Jam in My Brain’ course.
